Course content
1. Academic environment and study at university. 2. Working in a professional style. 3. Use of information sources. 4. Technical texts. 5. Strategy academic writing. 6. Formalities of texts. 7. Bibliographical references, standards for the marketing of bibliographic citations and references. 8. Argumentation, debate, discussion. 9. Prerequisites for successful presentations. 10. Terminology of Adult Education (thematic workshops, student presentations, discussion). 11. Adult Education and its relationship to other sciences (thematic workshops, presentations, discussions). 12. Education and Knowledge Society (thematic workshops, student presentations, discussion). 13. Human capital (thematic workshops, student presentations, discussion).

Learning outcomes
The discipline is of a propaedeutical nature and aids to introduce students to the range of literature and other texts describing fundamental issues in andragogy and other science education and social sciences.
Student after completion of the course will know: ? basic units of Style ? principles of work with information sources ? bibliographic and formal requirements for professional texts ? range of literary and other texts of the basic problems of adult education and further education sciences and social sciences Student after completion of the course will be able to: ? write the basic units of style (essay, paper, abstract) ? prepare a presentation using presentation aids ? submit argued opinions and engage in discussion ? to focus on current issues in adult education as a discipline and practice

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Active work in seminars, are allowed only 2 absences. Assigned tasks and their presentation and ongoing study of recommended literature.
