Learning outcomes
|
The course is aimed at acquainting and mastering selected techniques of advanced analysis of religious data. Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is partly focused on active and partly on passive knowledge of multivariate analytical procedures and their role in social research of religion (exploration, confirmation). The course proceeds from examples to the actual processing of analyzes.
Students will acquire knowledge of advanced analytical techniques used in quantitative social research of religion, understand their principles and possibilities of their use. They are able to understand texts using these techniques. They are able to use some of these procedures themselves for data analysis (eg in their diploma theses).

Student performance, Seminar Work
Participation in classes (maximum of two absences in seminars). Written elaboration of continuous tasks based on literature search and analysis of selected data set.
