Learning outcomes
|
The course deals with the issues of relationship in social work, the process of social work and some specific types of clients of social work. Further social work in various institutions is introduced, e.g. probation and mediation service, institutions etc. The course is designed on the basis of problems; the goal is not to provide definite instruction. The students' own experiences are widely used. In the course students can use the aids simulating various types of pathological phenomenon for example tremors or hearing and visual difficulties and "Age Simulation Suit Gert".
student has learnt in the basic overview of social work theories and methods and can use this theoretical knowledge in model situations and particular problems of particular social work clients student has learnt the present offer of the expert literature of the social work theories and methods and use this competency in further education

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark, Written exam, Seminar Work
Attendance at the course is compulsory, absences of 25 % meetings are allowed. This discipline is attested by a credit and an exam. To gain the credit it is necessary to fulfil all the correspondence tasks written in the study material, see above. Gaining the credit is a necessary condition to be allowed to take the exam. The exam has a written test form followed by an oral test.
