Course content
1. Human relationship as part of the social worker's profession 2. Silent client 3. Involuntary client 4. Depressed client 5. Manipulative client 6. Clients with Disabilities in Social Work I. - Visual, hearing, speech disability 7. Clients with disabilities in social work II. - psychic, mental, somatic, combined disability 8. Older Clients in Social Work 9. Probation and Mediation in Social Work 10. Victims of crime in social work 11. Domestic violence victim, witness (usually a child) and perpetrator of domestic violence in social work 12. Social work with a group in institutional facilities

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The course deals with the issues of relationship in social work, the process of social work and some specific types of clients of social work. Further social work in various institutions is introduced, e.g. probation and mediation service, institutions etc. The course is designed on the basis of problems; the goal is not to provide definite instruction. The students' own experiences are widely used. In the course students can use the aids simulating various types of pathological phenomenon for example tremors or hearing and visual difficulties and "Age Simulation Suit Gert".
student has learnt in the basic overview of social work theories and methods and can use this theoretical knowledge in model situations and particular problems of particular social work clients student has learnt the present offer of the expert literature of the social work theories and methods and use this competency in further education

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Written exam, Seminar Work

Attendance at the course is compulsory, absences of max. 25 % are allowed. This discipline is attested by a credit and an exam. To gain the credit it is necessary to fulfil all the correspondence tasks written in the study material in Moodle. Gaining the credit is a necessary condition to be allowed to take the exam. The exam has a written test form.
