|
The course focuses on the definition of work and organization from the perspective of sociology. It is based on the definition of work, social construction of work, then on approaches to the study of the organization.
Students will be able to define the concept of work and organization from sociologically perspective, enumerate the social characteristics of work and organization, determine factors influencing an individual's approach to work, describe the difference in the nature of work in industrial and post-industrial society. Brief outline of the course in detail.
