Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to summarize general principles of writing a professional text and their use for writing a bachelor thesis in the field of study of religion. Emphasis is placed on narrowing the topic, professional style of work, searching and evaluation of resources, progress from notes to coherent text, work with resources, corresponding citation standard, research methodology and theoretical basis of the work. Furthermore, the seminar is devoted to individual consultations and discussions on the progress of students' work. Student presents the topic, structure, objectives and sources of their work in the final seminar presentation.
Student will acquire skills in writing professional texts.

Assessment methods and criteria

The student consults with the supervisor on individual parts of the work, such as: 1) outline of the work, 2) literature search, 3) elaboration of a complete bibliography, 4) theoretical anchoring of the work and optimal methodology; 5) procedure. In addition, the student submits to the supervisor 5 pages of a professionally coherent text in each semester, which means that at the end of the winter semester of the third year the student submits at least 15 standard pages whose content is presented at the seminar.
