Personality of the social andragogist. 6. Application of knowledge of social andragogy in social work with people with disabilities. 7. Application of knowledge of social andragogy in social work with bearers of mental disorder. 8. Application of the knowledge of social andragogy in social work with homeless people. 9. Application of the knowledge of social andragogy in social work with individuals in prison. 10. Application of social andragogy knowledge in social work with members of ethnic minorities. 11. Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the discipline is to introduce students to the subject and content of social andragogy in the context of andragogy as a science, field of practice and field of study. Students will be introduced to the main target groups of social work and to the strategies of andragogical action on these objects of andragogical action. The purpose is to point out the fragile members of modern society and the specificities that require an approach to them.
The student knows the basic definition of social andragogy and can critically discuss it. The student can describe the position of social andragogy within integral andragogy. The student can list and briefly describe the main characteristics of the target groups of social andragogy. The student is able to propose tools of andragogical action on these target groups.

Prerequisites

It is assumed that the student is familiar with andragogy as a science, a field of practice and a discipline of study. The student is familiar with the characteristics of the target group of andragogical action.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Essay, Student performance, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student
A condition for the attestation is: - compulsory attendance at the seminar, allowed absence of max. 25 % of the course. In case of absence in the range of 50%, substitute assignments will be given with the difficulty of 4 hours of processing; - submission of a written thesis of 5 standard pages. The aim is to demonstrate the ability to creatively apply the knowledge of social andragogy to work with a selected group of clients in social work. A maximum of 3 standard pages of text may include a description of the target group drawn from appropriately referenced sources of information. A minimum of two standard pages of text should demonstrate the student's ability to apply the acquired knowledge about the target group to an outline of an educational strategy for working with the target group or to a project of educational work with the target group in the field of andragogy. The text passes the antiplagiarism check and must be properly referenced.
