Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to provide students with the knowledge enabling them to obtain the basic orientation in civil law, substantive and procedural, and the emphasis will be put on family law legislation and the system of social-legal protection of children. An integral part of the tuition will be solving model situations that should not only strengthen the students' knowledge, but also lead to the ability to implement acquired knowledge in social work practice.
student knows the structure of the civil code; student is able to express the basic terminology from the private civil law; student defines selected institutes of the private civil law. student can assess legal aspects of client´s social situation from the private civil law point of view; student can use individual institutes of the private civil law in the relation with the process of solving social problems of a client. student is able to use the knowledge of civil law in counselling process and in individual case work.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
To gain the colloquium it is necessary to be active in tutorials and to work out the set model situations from the sphere of civil law in the form of correspondence tasks.
