Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to improve skills related to the active use of English in the specific field of management of science and academic institutions. The course is based on the reading and subsequent interpretation of selected academic texts dealing with the topic of science management.
Upon finishing the course, the student will be able to: - work actively with English professional text - make use of specific vocabulary in the field - apply professional terminology in English - analyse a scientific text - identify a method of argumentation - interpret a professional text.

Each student will choose two chapters from the study literature (from different sources), prepare and give a presentation on these texts in English, and prepare a seminar paper on the selected texts.
