Course content
1. Learning Conception and its Theories Definition of the term "learning", kinds of learning. 2. Brief introduction to the learning theories focused on the adult learning. 3. The Adult as a Participant in Learning and Education. Psychological development in adulthood. Psychology and physiology of adult learning. 4. Ability of the Adults to Learn. Specific signs of the adult learners in education. 5. Competencies of the participants related to successful learning. 6. Internal Learning Conditions Motivation as a factor of successful learning of the adults. 7. External Learning Conditions Learning process and its phases. 8. Learning styles. 9. Self-regulation and Adult Learning. Autodidactic. 10. Psychosocial Context of Learning and Education of Adults. Psychology of teaching adults. 11. Stress and Learning and Educating Adults. Stage-fright. Exam situation. Tiredness as a result of the stress. 12. Educator and His / Her Role in Interaction with the Participants. Adult educator´s personality.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to reflect on learning and adult education from a psychological point of view - the question of human motivation for teaching and learning in adulthood, cognitive capacity adults, specifications and conditions of adult learning, including the relevant theoretical context.
In the end of the course will student know the concept of learning in adulthood and its main theories, the characteristics of the adult in the learning situation, presumed competencies to learn in adulthood and important factors for successful learning in adulthood. Student will be able to use the knowledge of the principles of the adult functioning in the learning situation on the process of teaching and educating him/herself and other people. Student can assess the key aspects of the process of regulation and self-regulation of learning.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark

It is necessary to accomplish the correspondence task to gain the credit. Gaining the credit is necessary to be allowed to the exam. The exam has written test form, which is followed by oral exam.
