Course content
1. Definition of the subject of psychology. 2. Personality, constructing personality, personal psychology. 3. Basic descriptive categories of human psychics. 4. Sources of personal development - internal and external factors. 5. Personal disorders, changes in personality. 6. Temperament. 7. Emotions. 8. Abilities. 9. Motivation. 10. Character. 11. "Selfhood". 12. Defence mechanisms.

Learning outcomes
In the discipline personality is understood as a hypothetic construct - a heuristic model of observable manifestations of an individual created in order to explain the stability and variability of human experience and behaviour as well as to discover incidentalness and regularities of experience and behaviour. The course will introduce the students into fundamental categories related to personality as the highest level of organization, energetization and management of human psyche.
- student knows the basic clinical methods of personality research, can name some critical points of their usage; - student can name basic descriptive categories of human psychics; - student defines the functions of individual parts of personality; - student can explain the nature and function of individual parts of personality. - student can use the knowledge of the human personality functioning in the process of learning about him/her and the others; - student can use the gained knowledge in the process of self-regulation. - student can distinguish on the elementary level the psychosocial sources and limits of particular personality and respect its autonomy.

Mark, Oral exam, Written exam

To gain the credit, it is necessary to work out the correspondence task. To get to the exam it is necessary to gain the credit. The exam has a written test form followed by an oral test.
