Course content
1. Creating a model firm. Choosing a strategy and a shape of a model organization for students to use theoretical and technological information about human potential management in organization through various didactic tools. The students will demonstrate individual personnel activities on the model firm. 2. Creating an organization schema. Choosing the best organization structure of the firm on the basis of the criteria coming out of the organization strategy. 3. Creating workplaces. Workplace analysis in regard of qualification and personal presumptions which are set to an employee by the individual workplace. The employee is supposed to create the workplace. 4. Placing professionals within the organization. Options that organization has to place professionals within itself. 5. Possibilities of the selection process. Basic options and barriers that can appear during the process of selecting employees. 6. Adaptation process. Creating a system of new employees' adaptation in the frame of a model organization. Choosing appropriate tools and methods for successful adaptation process towards the workplace and towards the organization culture in the same time. 7. Assessing working system. Creating a system of assessing the job performance and the employee. Appropriate assessment methods for model organization. And argue the focus on the past or on the future in the same time. 8. Motivation of job performance. Creating a motivation programme for a model organization. Identifying motivation structure of employees and possibilities and indicators which can point at the motivation structure. 9. Continuing professional education. Options and barriers of continuing professional education in a model organization. Creating an ideal system of education in an organization, suggesting the ways how the reach the ideal. 10. Career management in an organization. Designing a career plan and a plan of replacements in a model organization. Identifying the positives and the negatives which could be brought about with the career plan. 11. Remuneration of employees. Creating a model remuneration system in created organization. Argue al the elements of the model on the basis of theoretical knowledge of personnel management and organizational behaviour. 12. Care for the employees. Creating a model caring system in a model organization. Name the options and barriers of the care of the employees and reveal the external threats which are the social frame of the care of the employees. Useful tool is the SWOT analysis or another type of analysis of internal and external parts of the organization milieu.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to obtain basic skills in order to apply technology approaches of profit organization human potential management. The ability is focused on the competence to identify, define and imply andragogical resources to the personnel work area in such way that the result of the whole andragogical action is a motivated employee, who is willing to provide an expected performance in required quality.
- To use the basic knowledge from the field of human potential management and organization milieu in a model organization. - Student can create a model organization with all basic elements which are necessary for formal organization. - Student can choose the important personnel activities which should be formulated in a model organization. - Student can interpret the principles of formal organization functioning and can create a model organization on this basis. - Student can put the learnt technological procedures of personnel management into the practice of particular organization milieu. - Student can plan individual personnel activities and logically argue their sequence. - Student can analyse particular organization milieu. - Student is able to suggest and construct management procedures to influence the employees towards the strategic goals of the organization. - Student is able to critically think and identify the deficits which cause problems in the organization functioning.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark

To receive the credit student must discuss actively during the seminar where some of the personnel activities will be constructed on a model organization. To receive the colloquium student must work out the tasks from work book. There will be a discussion on the tasks and the discussion will be the basis of attestation.
