Course content
1.Definition of the subject of psychology. 2. Personality research methods. 3. Personality, constructing personality, personal psychology. 4. Sources of personal development - internal and external factors. 5. Formal analysis of personality. 6. Personal disorders, changes in personality. 7. Temperament. 8. Emotions. 9. Abilities. 10. Motivation. 11. Character. 12. "Selfhood".

Learning outcomes
In the discipline personality is understood as a hypothetic construct - a heuristic model of observable manifestations of an individual created in order to explain the stability and variability of human experience and behaviour as well as to discover incidentalness and regularities of experience and behaviour. The course will introduce the students into fundamental categories related to personality as the highest level of organization, energetization and management of human psyche.
Student: - Knows the basic clinical methods of personality research, can name some critical points of their usage. - Can name basic descriptive categories of human psychics. - Defines the functions of individual parts of personality. Student: - Can use the knowledge of the human personality functioning in the process of learning about him/her and the others. - Can use the gained knowledge in the process of self-regulation. - Student can distinguish on the elementary level the psychosocial sources and limits of particular personality and respect its autonomy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam

To gain the credit, it is necessary to work out the all three correspondence tasks. To get to the exam it is necessary to gain the credit. The exam has a written test form followed by an oral test.
