Course content
Topics: choosing the topic: choosing and concretization of the bachelor thesis topic. The thesis supervisor and his/her role. The basis and the goals of the thesis, theoretical foundation. Application potential. Methodology. Methods of work. Logical structure of the text. Formal layout of the text. Working with foreign languages documents. Ethical principles.

Learning outcomes
The goal of the discipline is to show to the students the importance of the bachelor thesis, the role of the thesis supervisor, the process of choosing the thesis topic, its methodology, the principles of the logical structure of the qualification thesis and formal layout of the text.
Graduating this discipline means that the students will be able to: - choose appropriate topic (issue) of the thesis, - suggest the goals of the thesis, briefly characterise the theoretical basis and possible application potential, - begin to cooperate with the supervisor in the context of negotiated rules, - suggest appropriate methodology of the thesis, - work with texts in foreign languages, - characterize ethical limits connected with working on the bachelor thesis, - produce the assignment of the bachelor thesis and negotiated plan of the cooperation with the supervisor of the thesis.

This discipline is conditioned by graduating from the discipline Introduction into studies and scientific work II. Fulfilling individual theoretical and practical tasks, individual creative activities, cooperation with the thesis supervisor. Contact education, preparation and presentation.
