Learning outcomes
|
The course introduces the basics of cognitive science, which is an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the human mind and its processes such as memory, consciousness, emotion, and language. The course will also include selected problems of cognitive science in the form of so-called "case studies". Various methods used in field and laboratory research in cognitive science will also be introduced. The course will pay attention to issues of cognitive philosophy, cognitive anthropology, cognitive religious studies, neuroeconomics, and neuroscience.
Students will acquire knowledge of basic problems of cognitive sciences.
