Learning outcomes
|
The course is taught in Czech. The course aims at introducing the student to the topics of social and cultural diversity and social identities from the perspective of social sciences. The course introduces the following topics: identity in social sciences, the concept of culture, cultural identity and multiculturalism: critical introduction, ethnicity, national identity, religion and identity, culturally responsive pedagogics, etc.
After the successful completion of the course students will be able to define and explain the concepts of culture, identity, social and cultural diversity from the perspective of social sciences.
