The aim of the course is an introduction to Christianity as one of the world's major religions - both on the level of contemporary forms and historical and their doctrinal development.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: demonstrate knowledge of the basics of Christian tradition; characterize individual stages of Christianity development; define the basic principles of Christian doctrine, liturgy, organization; to present the basics of thinking of the most prominent representatives of Christian theology and philosophy; to evaluate the historical influence of Christian thought on the creation of European and world culture.
