Course content
The concept of personality in psychology (Access to human personality, structure and dynamics of personality, personality typology. Brain as the basis for the functioning of the psyche. Psychological issues of the teamwork (psychological aspects of the organizational culture development, learning organization. Encouraging collaboration, evaluaotion of employees). Communication and its importance to the educational institution (relation to coping with stress, burnout and its prevention. The importance of self-reflection. Intervision and supervision in education and educational institution, Balint group). Memory and other cognitive functions in the context of learning (Types of memory. Memory training as prevention of aging. Attention, perception, readiness). Violence in educational establishments. The concepts of aggression, kind of "violence" in schools, bullying, cyberbullying and its consequences. Questions of psychosocial development. (Determinants of development, support of healthy development, socialization issues. Prosocial behavior and altruism. The social and moral development and social-emotional learning). Relationships and their importance in education. Patterns of social perception and behavior. (Conformity, the meaning assigned role, the effect of obedience, bystander effect. Promoting good relations in the educational institution, dealing with negative emotions, the basics of conflict resolution and mediation). Psychological issues of inclusive education (Special Educational Needs, disability vs. handicap, deinstitutionalization, difficulties of integration and inclusion, issues relating to risk behaviors).

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to: - explain the psychological concept of personality, to understand the functioning of cognitive functions and their relation to learning, - understand the principles of moral development and know the possibilities of its institutional development. - explain the importance of self-management in the context of educational institutions, - submit own idea of developing good relationships with the institution, the possibilities of communication, - defend a an own concept of prevention of burnout among educational institution workers - propose measures for the inclusion of an individual with severe disabilities, - establish rules for the introduction of "learning organization" elements.

Assessment methods and criteria

Contact teaching, reading, essay (3-5 pages), presentation on a given topic, preparing for the exam. The corresponding tasks are specified in the EDIS environment continuously in the semester so that it followed up on current topics discussed. The maximum range of 10 NS.
