Learning outcomes
|
Learning outcomes of the course are to students become familiar with the main topics dealt with within the cognitive science of religion. Students will acquire the ability to read scientific books and articles in the field of CSR, and in the seminars, they will learn to discuss and argue with the authors over their conclusions and research. Students will also be systematically led to critical scientific thinking in a written commentary on topics such as the theory of ritualized behavior from an evolutionary perspective, or the importance of embodied cognition in religious research.
