Course content
|
Theory of managerial decision making. Identification and formulation of DP, situation analysis, decomposition of DP, determination of the causes of DP (DP - decision problem). Multi-criteria decision making - criteria, variants, consequences, methods. Implementation of the selected variant - process planning, CPM method, Gantt chart. Group decision making, psychological limits of decision making. Current management environment - knowledge economy, intercultural aspects, virtualization, group intelligence.

Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on the theory and practice of managerial decision-making and on selected managerial techniques in the context of the management of educational institutions. The aim of the course is to master selected managerial techniques, especially in the decision-making phase in current economic, social and technological conditions.
Graduates of the course are able to make informed decisions individually and as part of a group when solving well- and ill-structured decision-making problems.

Student performance, Seminar Work
Participation in teaching blocks, laptops with MS Excel (or an alternative spreadsheet) are highly recommended. Completion of the assignment by the deadline.
