Course content
1. Preface Introduction, learning goals. 2. What is AC Assessment Centres are diagnosing and training programmes for human assortment or development. 3. Organizing AC (8 - 10 participants, 6 observers, 2 moderators, 3 big enough rooms) 4. AC Principles Independent observers, permanent rotation of the participants, observation separated from evaluation, Criteria watched in various practise, situation simulation. 5. AC Practice 1 Self-presentation, personality tests, group discussion, 6. AC Practice 2 Small groups work, specific cases analysis, interview, evaluating interview. 7. Request Profile Internal movements/motivation, business dispositions, cognitive dispositions, social competencies. 8. How to Make an Interview 1 Open questions form - they support broad narration and give a great open space for an answer to the interview partner. 9. How to Make an Interview 2 Close questions form - they limit the interview partner and should be used only when specific data is needed. 10. Tendencies to Make Observation Mistakes Every observer has his/her own ideas about behaviour connected to a situation and the situation is often (may be unconsciously) assessed according the individuality and not according what is objectively observed. 11. Feed-back Important part of AC that brings great emotional pressure. It is important for the one who realizes it to know its principles. 12. Conclusion Summary, revision, common discussion.

Learning outcomes
Assessment centers are diagnostic -training program. The goal is for a theoretical explanation of the principles on specific AC exercises to practice observation probands and the method of evaluation of group exercises.
- student knows the definition of AC - student knows basic principles of AC - student knows the organization of AC - student is able to fulfil the observer´s role in AC independently - student is able to hold an interview according to the needs and goals of AC - student is able to give and ask for a feed-back - student can assess the performance of a candidate in AC - student can indicate the usage of AC potential for appropriate candidates - student uses effectively the AC potential

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

This subject is closed by colloquium which is provided through a group discussion in groups of 5-7 students.
