1. Re-writing the dissertation draft (the draft was, presumably, submitted in fulfilment of the requirements for Dissertation Seminar 6) to produce the final version. 2. Adjusting formal features (spelling, proofreading for language-if relevant, house style, formatting). 3. Assembling the dissertation manuscript (adding the title page, abstract, acknowledgements, table of contents, list of tables/figures, appendices, index), checking the length (word count) and pagination, printing the manuscript and having it bound. 4. Submitting the dissertation to the Department for Research and Development and signing-up for the doctoral defence.
