Course content
1. Planning the instruction including teaching methods in cooperation with the guarantor. In case of independent teaching, defining the course goals, skills to be acquired, methods, and requirements in cooperation with the guarantor; also, structuring the course to create a meaningful unit. 2. Developing the list of required and recommended reading. 3. Conducting course instruction according to the syllabus and coordinating the student coursework. 4. Providing a balanced feedback on student work, emphasising positive points and educational progress, identifying weak points and declining study performance, if that is the case. 5. Suggesting course grades for the students to the guarantor. The course is supported by the project CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0179 Diverzifikace a systematizace postgraduálního studia na FF UP Olomouc. Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to teach or assist in a BA course in sociology or related discipline, following a consultation with and approval by the supervisor.
Abilities to: - plan the teaching activities in BA seminars according to the syllabus, or to develop own syllabus in cooperation with the course guarantor; - formulate the course objectives, skills to be acquired, content, teaching methods and requirements; - create the list of required and recommended reading for the given course; - mediate knowledge to the course participants by means of a variety of teaching methods; - facilitate the seminar instruction and coordinate student course participation; - provide feedback to the course participants, including grading.

Assessment methods and criteria

In cooperation with the BA course guarantor, planning the course instruction and, if relevant, also the whole syllabus, including the reading list. Conducting BA seminar instruction according to the syllabus, communicate with the course participants, and provide collective course and individual feedback. Suggest student grades to the BA course guarantor. At the earliest convenience after the completion of the course, the student must request a confirmation from the BA course guarantor of the course requirements fulfilment and submit this to the guarantor of the PhD course KSA/94V1.
