The aim of the examination is to test the knowledge of selected theoretical and methodological sociological literature and literature pertaining to the subject of the dissertation, in order to assess the theoretical and methodological preparedness of the candidate to conduct research in the chosen area.
The ability to place own dissertation topic in the context of sociological theory and methodology, as well as to identify the potential contribution of own research to sociological theory and/or methodology. |
