Main topics: 1) Introduction: Analysis and interpretation 2) Interpretation and literary science 3) The main interpretive theories of the 20th century 4) Literariness and understanding of the text 5) Interpretive approaches to the internal construction of narrative 6) Interpretation of narrative in terms of its reference

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basic concepts of analysis and interpretation of a literary text.

Attendance in the lectures and seminars, reading of assigned literary and scientific texts.
