Course content
The course will followed these thematic blocks: ? Vocabulary: nature, excuses ? Grammar: future tense, reflexive pronouns, past tense (I), participle ? Spelling and writing: spelling (IV), short essays (II) ? Facts: Andalusia, cinema and theater, Spanish and Latin American painting

Learning outcomes
The goal of this course is to improve the knowledge of all four language skills, both active (spekaing and wiritng) and passive (listening and reading). Even though grammar aspects of the language plays an important part in learning a foreign language, mainly in filological studies, a special emphasis is placed on students communicative competence. These will hepl them to handle the majority of situations that can occur in Spanish speaking countries. Teaching in all respects will be governed by the principles of the Common European Framework of Reference for language learning.
Fixing the competencies common for reference level A1 and obtaining level A2: - Listening: Understanding the most common phrases and vocabulary related to areas of me immediate relevance (eg. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment) - Reading: Understanding short simple texts - Speaking and spoken interaction: Mastering communication in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar topics and activities. - Writing: Mastering the short, simple notes and messages relating to my basic needs.
