Course content
|
The course will acquaint students with various methods of the linguistic research (presented occasionally in form of lectures-workshops of eminent invited experts in Romance languages). Students will present their research projects and partial results in oral and written forms. A detailled analysis and discussion of the students' works. The students improve the knowledge and the skills in the field of research methods and presentation of their own research work, in particular in the following areas: principles of the linguistic methodology, the structure of the academic publication, quotation and bibliographical references, critical assessment of the scientific work, typographical principles when writing academic papers, processing academic papers, electronic publications, editorial activity, ethical questions connected with the publication.
