Course content
|
This subject complements "Portuguese Language 4, III". It is focused on the extension of vocabulary related to selected conversation topics through an analysis of texts of various styles and registers. Emphasis is put on the discussion on topical issues. Attention is also paid to the Brazilian Portuguese. Current political situation in Portugal and Brazil.

Learning outcomes
|
This subject is focused on the extension of vocabulary related to selected conversation topics through an analysis of texts of various styles and registers. Emphasis is put on the discussion on topical issues. Attention is also paid to Brazilian Portuguese. The work prepares for the Complex test.
Students acquire ability to understand difficult texts as well as ability to discuss topical social issues. They enrich their vocabulary within the selected topics from the field of Portuguese and Brazilian life and institutions.
