Course content
|
This course deals with the evolution of Brazilian classical music, paying attention also to the main aspects of Brazilian social and political history, which form the background of the classical music production.

Learning outcomes
|
This course, following the course "Brazilian Life and Institutions", is focused on Brazilian music.
Besides new knowledge of Brazilian culture, at the end of the semester the students should better understand the modern Brazilian society, its culture and way of life.
