Course content
1. Linguistic landscape characteristics, reasons for studying it, the linguistic landscape and language attitudes, multimodal communication 2. Language contact - borrowings - anglicisms - italianisms in czech language - Osservatorio degli Italianismi nel Mondo 3. Fraseology and paremiology (terminology, idioms and proverbs: a comparison, the meaning, the form intercultural aspects - motivation interlinguistic aspects - interlingustic equivalence)

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to deepen the student's understanding of the Italian language system.
A better understanding of selected linguistic phenomena, the ability to critically evaluate them, and to compare them with L1.

1. Regular attendance and active participation in the seminars 2. Writing final seminar paper on the selected topic
