Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the major representatives of the field of Romance philologies (Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese), the current topics of their research and the methodologies they use. These are lectures by scholars from Czech and foreign universities.
Orientation in contemporary research.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of at least one Romance language.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay

To successfully complete the course, students must attend lectures, seminars, and workshops totaling at least 10 class hours (cumulatively) and submit a written paper on one of the covered topics.
