Student performance

For each lesson, the teacher gives a list of texts for the students to read in advance. - The student draws a topic heading for the exam, which he/she then systematically interprets (about 5 minutes), then answers additional questions and analyses literary texts related to the heading (according to the teacher's choice). - After the examination has been drawn up, the student will have time for written preparation. - For the above topics, the teacher will also ask about the general characteristics of the cultural periods (from the Middle Ages to the Enlightenment). - The texts will be given in English and the students will read them in English translation. - Texts that students read in the original are printed in bold.
