Course content
|
The seminars introduce to the problem of Italian specialized terminology from the morphological, syntactic and lexical point of view. 1. Written and spoken language. 2. Contemporary Italian language from the phonological, morphological and syntactic point of view. 3. Basic law terms. 4. Basics of the medical terminology. 5. Language of the informatic technologies. 6. Language of media. 7. Problems related to the translation of specialized texts.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of the Italian terminology, morphology and syntax of texts from the fields of law, medicine, science, mass media, etc., in accordance to the professional orientation of the target group.
Students become familiar with the basics of the specialized terminology and are able to work with a specialized text.

|
A very good knowledge of common Italian.

|
Written exam
Active participation in seminars, preparation for every lesson. Analysis and translation of selected specialized texts.
