Course content
1. Nouns from the 4th to the 5th declination 2. Personal, possessive and reflexive pronouns 3. Numerals, prepositions, prefixes 4. Present and imperfect subjunctive of the verb esse and of its compounds 5. Present and imperfect subjunctive of the verbs from the 1st to the 4th conjugation 6. Final clauses 7. Deponent verbs 8. Accusative with the infinitive 9. Nominative with the infinitive 10. Practicing the translations of simple texts

Learning outcomes
The aim is to get the student more familiar with the Latin language in particular with a view to the application of this knowledge to deepen understanding of grammatical structures of the Romance Languages ??and their Latin roots. Students will learn the more advanced grammatical phenomena and richer vocabulary. They should realize the link between the Romance language??, which they study, and Latin; they should be able to use Latin-Czech dictionary and translate unknown simple text in Latin.
Students become familiar with more advanced level of the Latin language that will allow them to deepen their knowledge of the grammatical structure of Latin and realize the relation between Latin and Romance languages. They will be able to use Latin-Czech dictionary and translate simple text in Latin.

Written exam, Analysis of linguistic, Systematic Observation of Student

Attendance at seminars, homework and repetition, active participation in seminars, passing written test.
