Course content
1. French classical music in the European context; French popular chansons as the source of inspiration for the European singers songwriters 2. Painting, sculpture and architecture as a part of the European cultural heritage 3. Industrial and applied arts 4. Culinary as a traditional French art 5. The French "haute couture" as an expression of the artistic identity of the society 6. Film and theatre in today's France

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to make the student familiar with the individual branches of French art and their integration in the wide European francophone culture.
- understanding the meaning of French culture inside the francophone culture and the meaning of francophone culture in relation to other cultures of the modern single Europe - understanding of the development of European artistic movements in the social context - development of the ability of discussion

1. regular attendance and active participation in the seminars 2. preparation for each class, knowledge of the documents and materials to be analysed
