Course content
Sytematic learning of the language on the basis of the work with textbook complemented by further listening, phonetic and other exercises and conversational activities. The focus is put on modal verbs, compound past tense with the verb avoir, near future, formation of plural, polite questions, etc.

Learning outcomes
The objective of the continual language training course for beginners of the other majors than French philology is to make the students familiar with the basics of French, with respect to the essential vocabulary, basic grammar and syntax. Students will gradually learn the French pronunciation, conjugation of verbs in present, past and future tenses, the basics of sentence structure and the elementary vocabulary necessary for the communication in common communicational situations. No previous knowledge of French is required.
