Course content
|
The PhD state exam has the form of a discussion focusing on selected topics in the particular field. Details concerning the state exam will be available from the PhD thesis supervisor.

Learning outcomes
|
The studies conclude with a PhD state exam and the defence of the PhD thesis. The doctoral thesis and the state exam usually take place on the same day.
The graduate will master the methodology of academic work: he/ she will have the ability to deal with texts of all kinds, understand their contexts and connections. Further the student will be capable of interpreting, researching and sorting data.

Oral exam
Students have to pass the doctoral state exam and defend their PhD thesis.
