Course content
|
The objective of this course is to develop the student's literary-theoretical awareness in relation to the methodological approach to the topic of his or her dissertation. The student is confronted with the theories of the most important literary schools: formalism, structuralism, semiology, receptive theory, sociology of literature, new criticism, phenomenology, etc., with the basic methods of comparation, gender studies, post-colonial discourse, culturology and aesthetics. The exam tests the knowledge in the scope of the lectures and a detailed knowledge of five important works of the literary science (of the student's choice, agreed by the teacher).

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)
The student must actively take part in the lectures and seminars. The exam tests the knowledge in the scope of the lectures and a detailed knowledge of five important works of the literary science (of the student's choice, agreed by the teacher).
