Course content
|
- Models of Italian mediaeval short story (vidas, fablieaux, Latin mediaeval literature) - Novellino - Decameron - Exemples and the preachy literature - Bibliographical research - Writing a paper - Discussion about the paper and its adaptation. - Finalizing of the text and its submission to being published. The course is supported by the project CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0179 Diverzifikace a systematizace postgraduálního studia na FF UP Olomouc.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to deal with the genre of Italian mediaeval story from the point of view of its historical development, literary structure, content and ideology. Each student will treat this topis from his own point of view, he will make a bibliographical research and under the supervision of the guarantor of the course he will write a paper to be puslihed.

Prerequisites
|
The course is focused on students who have a very good knowledge of medieval literature and are able to read scholarly texts in Italian and English.
