Course content
|
The course will deal with the following problems: 1. Importance of the dialogue in Italian medieval literature. 2. Dialogue as a philosophical and moral disputation. 3. Dialogue in love poetry of 13th century. 4. Dialogue in comic and realistic poetry of 13th century. 5. Dialogue in didactical vernacular literature. 6. Dialogue in didactical Latin literature. 7. Presentation and debate of the research results. The course is supported by the project CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0179 Diverzifikace a systematizace postgraduálního studia na FF UP Olomouc.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to deal with the dialogue as a literary genre in the medieval Italy. A small research team will be created which will study various aspects of this minority genre.

Good knowledge of Italian or medieval literature.
