A two-semester course Introduction to Political Science is ended by a written test in the winter and summer term. The course is part of a comprehensive examination, which encloses the 1st year. Credit and an examination will be granted only to those students who successfully complete both semesters. Entering the course UPL 2 is conditioned by the successful completion (ie to obtain credit) from UPL I. Credit and an exam will be granted on the basis of meeting these requirements: succesful oral presentation, passing the written test (in summer and written term), active participation in seminar discussion (based on the required reading), submitting an essay and its acceptation by the lecturer, maximum two absences in the seminar classes, passing the final comprehensive exam.
