Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work, Written exam

The SPKPP course is completed with credit. Credit will be awarded based on meeting the following requirements: 1. Presentation Each student will give one presentation during the course. The presentation must meet the following criteria: (a) Presentation length 10-15 min. b) the presentation must be given, not read (!), in written Czech at an appropriate level c) a brief extract (i.e. the most important findings from the text) of 1-2 standard pages d) sending the extract and the presentation to the teacher's e-mail at least 24 hours before the lesson. The student will also distribute the prepared material to his/her colleagues. e) each presenter will also prepare 1 discussion question related to the seminar topic and presentation f) In the event of illness or other relevant reason that prevents the student from giving the presentation, the student will apologize in advance to the seminar leader and arrange for a substitute. A student who fails to give a presentation at the agreed time (without prior apology) is not entitled to credit. 2. Participation and activity in the course Attendance at lectures is optional, however, the instructor encourages students to attend lectures as there are no scripts or textbooks for the course. In seminars, the instructor will tolerate a maximum of two absences* per semester. In case of illness, individual make-ups must be arranged with the instructor. Emphasis is placed on students' active participation in seminars - engaging in discussion and preparing independently before them. The lecturer may, if necessary, check the knowledge of the assigned readings in written form or assignments may be given in Moodle, the completion of which will be part of the seminar and will be checked by the lecturer. 3. Assessment Credit for the SPKPP course will be awarded on the basis of successful completion of a written test, completion of an assigned oral presentation, and an evaluation of participation and activity in seminars (possibly also on the basis of written subtests of readings or completed seminar assignments).
