Learning outcomes
The lecture aims to build and elementary model of semiosis. The course builds on dialogue between lecturers and the audience, gradual introduction of terms and concepts that do not presuppose knowledge or interpretation of preceding theories. Conclusions of discussions will nevertheless be put into the context of representative literature in the field of semiotics. This should result in formulation of a general, consistent model of semiosis, suited not only for basic definition of any description of language, but also of any other sign interactions.
Ability of critical reflection of conceptual analysis and formulation of coherent elementary terminology of semiotics
