(1) Basic definition of communication and message (2) Communication situation (3) Formal semantic and pragmatic features of verbal communication (4) Speech behaviour (5) Monologue and dialogue (6) Discourse definition, types of discourse (7) Conversation analysis

The aim of the course is to introduce student to the main topics of linguistic pragmatics, their relations to other linguistic disciplines, basic terminology and conceptual devices used by modern pragmatics.
Knowledge of basics of pragmatics Knowledge of basic terminology, basic theories and works in the field of pragmatics
