Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to develop the student's ability to transform the results of their own research into a scholarly academic text and to present them in an academic setting. The student will acquire the principles of academic text structure, style, and argumentation, learn how to work with primary sources and scholarly literature and how to use citation and referencing systems, and become familiar with the fundamental principles of publication and research ethics.
Students will learn to present the results of their research and engage in academic debate.
