Course content

Criteria for written text. Standard page, bibliographic citation, footnotes, plagiarism, typography. Expert - popularization - popular texts, language of expert texts, types of expert texts. Preparation for written work. Gathering information from literature and sources, heuristics, research, working with databases/catalogues. Subject, methods, objectives, research questions, hypotheses. Outline of the thesis, abstract, review of sources and literature, critical review of sources, state of research.

1. Completion of written and other assignments according to deadlines (assignments must be uploaded to Moodle and brought to class for presentation). 2. Regular attendance. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the student not receiving credit.
