Students select the content of their professional placement from a list provided by the Department of Musicology, which is regularly updated, or submit their own proposal to the course coordinator for approval. The placement consists of the following stages: - Mentoring prior to the placement - Completion of the placement - Evaluation

| Assessment methods and criteria |
|
Student performance
Completion of a 120-hour professional placement. Upon completion of the required tasks, the student submits: a) Written confirmation from the relevant academic supervisor or institution under whose supervision the placement was completed. The confirmation must include a brief assessment of the scope and quality of the work performed and a recommendation for awarding the course credit. b) A report on the professional placement, describing its content, the nature of the professional activities undertaken, outputs, etc., together with the student's own evaluation of the placement. The report should be approximately one standard page in length. |
