The aim of the subject is to widen the scope of the students with themes not taught in the normal study program, to give them the latest information about their studies and to enable them contacts with foreign experts. This supports also language abilities of the students, their skill to understand lectures in a foreign language. Within the framework of UPlift - Broadening and systematization of educatiob in foreign languages, reg. no. 141; CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0033 - in the Winter Semester 2014/15 prof. Rosario Pintaudi of the University of Florecne, Italy, gave a paper on the theme "Antinoupolis Yesterday and Today" and a Seminarium "Papyrology - subject, methods, perspectives of the discipline."
