- the lectures on the role of ancient tradition in the period of Renaissance and Baroque - translation and interpretation of Latin texts of Renaissance and Baroque

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to make students familiar with the ancient traditions in the European literature of Renaissance and Baroque and with echoes of the classical Latin in the literature of the mentioned periods.
Student has ability of analysis of elements of ancient cultural tradition and ideas in the Latin texts of Renaissance and Baroque.

the basic knowledge of Latin and ability of interpretation of latin text
