Learning outcomes |
The seminar History of Jews in the Czech Lands in the 20th Century will present the fate of the Jewish population from Masaryk's relationship with Jews, Zionism, and the Shoah, to the position of Jews in communist Czechoslovakia. The modern history of the Jews in Olomouc will also be introduced. ---------------------------------- Graduates of the course will gain an overview of some aspects of Czechoslovak history in the context of World War II, with some time overlap outside the framework set by this conflict. Emphasis is also placed on the analysis of literature and primary sources. A course is taught by PhD students specialized on the 20th century. It is not opened every academic year. HF
After participating the course, the student will be able to use this specialisation in pedagogical and other practice of this field of study. HF |

Attendance is required to obtain the credit. Only two unexcused absences are allowed. Activity in classes and presentations on the selected topic. Passing the credit test. |
